Local Family Organizations and Links

Mary Johnson Center
Mary Johnson Children's Center offers state-licensed after-school and summer programs for students attending Mary Hogan Elementary, grades K-6. For information and/or enrollment, you may use the link above and select "School Age" on the menu list.

Walk and Bike to School Website
Click this link for information about local efforts to walk and bike to school, through Vermont Safe Routes to School. MESA encourages families to plan for ways to safely walk or bike to school as often as possible, but especially on the first Wednesdays of each month, which are Walk & Roll to School days (except the winter months). Our town and school are looking to increase participation of families in the Safe Routes To School program. It would mean more funding for improving sidewalks and signs. Start a walking group in your neighborhood today!

Charter House Coalition
The Charter House Coalition is a local non profit organization. To find out about their community meals follow the link above. During the school year they have offered Family Breakfasts on Saturday mornings.
