Walk and Bike to School Website
Click this link for information about local efforts to walk and bike to school, through Vermont Safe Routes to School. MESA encourages families to plan for ways to safely walk or bike to school as often as possible, but especially on the first Wednesdays of each month, which are Walk & Roll to School days (except the winter months). Our town and school are looking to increase participation of families in the Safe Routes To School program. It would mean more funding for improving sidewalks and signs. Start a walking group in your neighborhood today!
Charter House Coalition
The Charter House Coalition is a local non profit organization. To find out about their community meals follow the link above. During the school year they have offered Family Breakfasts on Saturday mornings.
The McGilton Memorial Fund is an unrestricted endowment fund established to benefit Mary Hogan School and its students. The Fundʼs use in recent years, as directed by the ID#4 Prudential Committee/Mary Hogan School Board, has been to support enrichment programs at the school which are not otherwise funded through the annual operating budget.
