Cornwall School

Welcome to Cornwall School!

  • Welcome to Anna Sunderland Stowell Bingham Memorial School, affectionately known as the Cornwall School.

We are a kindergarten through 6th grade school in the Addison County Supervisory Union of about 75 students.  Each grade, K-4 has its own teacher, and 5th and 6th grades are combined in one class.  Our 7th graders attend Middlebury Union Middle School and our 9th graders go to Middlebury Union High School.

Our school community strongly believes in our motto: "Learn to grow and grow to learn."  We are all learners at the Cornwall School, from the youngest student to the most experienced teacher.  We strive to support each other as we learn, think, question, form opinions, listen, revise, and innovate.

We are located on Route 30 about four miles south of the Middlebury College campus.

We are a Responsive Classroom school implementing Positive Behavior Supports (PBS).
OUR MISSION is to provide an innovative, rigorous, and supportive educational community that inspires a passion for learning and cultivates empathy and responsibility.
