Cornwall School

This section of the website is dedicated to what students and staff are reading.  Different students will be submitting short book reviews of books they are reading and recommend.  To see the student books, check out the Books Students Recommend page. On student books, please note the grades/ages they are appropriate for and/or the grade that recommended the book.

We will also be keeping up a blog on which we will post any of the more recent education books and articles we read and what thinking arises from them.

Enjoy our submissions and if you have one to add, let us know!
Students Drawing What They Read
We love reading here at Cornwall School, and we also love writing too.  One of our students this fall combined these two loves and wrote her own book.

Lia Calzini and I share a love of Piggy and Gerald books (by Mo Willems) so we have been talking about which ones we love the most since the summer.  Lia got a new Piggy and Gerald book and was inspired to write and illustrate her own Piggy and Gerald Book.  Read her first publication below.  And, watch out: If she becomes a children's book author, you got to read the first edition of her first book!
